Happy birthday to me. It's my golden bday-23 on the 23rd. Right now we're at Ameristar, me and the usual crew-Marlon, Tre, and Reg. This was the best idea we had. Now as in after we sit in this booth and marinate we're going to hit the craps table on our side and take them for all they've got. Them who knows. 

Merry Christmas Baby

Well the holidays are upon us once again. This is my favorite time of the year. With T-7 days until the big day I figured now would be an appropriate time to wish all of my readers (Dom and Erica) a very merry Christmas. Hope everyone gets what they want and enjoy the time they will spend with their friends and family. And now I will leave you with my all-time favorite Christmas song ever and my favorite version.

So I'm sitting here watching Baseball At Its Best: Highlights of the 2009 Season and realizing that not only is this year almost over but so is the decade. The 2000s were a great time for me. I graduated from middle school, high school, and college all in one decade. I made new friends lost some along the way. Children have come into my life (none of my own) and friends and loved ones have gone on. The 2000s will be my all-time golden era. Well I guess I'll have a synopsis of this year as well as this decade coming sometime next month.

Because gratification of a desire leads to the temporary stilling of the mind and the experience of the peaceful, joyful Self, it's no wonder that we get hooked on thinking that happiness comes from the satisfaction of desires. This is the meaning of the old adage, "Joy is not in things, it is in us."

Food- Pizza Rolls, and they are good for two sets of people- stoners and kids. It's pizza, my favorite food, rolled up and ready in about 2 minutes. One of life's simple pleasures. :)
TV-Living Single is a classic. They don't make quality shows with black people anymore. Sometimes I wish that Living Single was my life-Brooklyn, NY, best friends always together.
Movies-The Go Getter is an indie flick with two of my favorite actors, Zooey Deschanel and Lou Taylor Pucci. He goes under the radar so many times because he's a silver screener but I like him. The movie is great.
Music-If you had to ask, John Mayer. Battle Studies. Assassin.
Drink- Long Island Iced Tea
Moment-Going to Halo Bar and realizing those white kids weren't just drunk. They were rolling, high or something because no one dances like that regardless of sobriety level or race.
Random-I'm sick of feeling sorry for myself and my current situation.
